We will present the awards at this year’s LPL All-Star Event If the individuals have not demonstrated significant infringements, then they will be officially listed as a nominee. During this time, LoL esports participants (staff, players, other individuals) can raise concerns over any individual’s major past infractions. This notice will be available to the public for one week. The following will include the contents of the nomination, as well as past honors for PDD, Yi Hang Zhu, and wAwa. Any severe professional or legal infractions will automatically make the individual ineligible to be a nominee.īased on the discussions by the LPL Competition Commission, the 2021 LPL Hall of Fame nominee candidates are PDD, Yi Hang Zhu, and wAwa. Not only do nominees have to qualify in one of these two categories, but they must also be a positive influence on the environment around them. During our evaluation, we will look at the individual’s achievements within their field, as well as any significant contributions that they have made to their profession. To be nominated as a non-player individual, the individual must have worked in a single field/profession for at least five years. During our evaluation, we will look at the player’s domestic and international achievements, as well as their overall contribution to the LoL esports scene. To be nominated as a LPL player, the player must have already retired for at least three years.
To ensure that those who enter the LPL Hall of Fame are rigorously selected, we have separate nomination rules for LPL players and other participants. In 2020, the LPL announced its first-ever Hall of Fame in 2020 as a way of honoring players and other individuals who contributed massively to the development of League of Legends esports.
